PILATES WITH PROPS
A great starting point, the "Pilates with Props" class teaches the basic principles of PILATES and builds a foundation of exercises required to move on to the next level.
This mat-based workout is designed to help participants develop longer, leaner muscles, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness. Matwork, the foundation of PILATES exercise, builds knowledge and strength from the ground up.
The Instructor works through an exercise repertoire using the props (Toning balls, Flex Bands, Fitness Circle etc) that challenges strength and flexibility to create a strong and healthy body. Layered with modifications, this workout also illustrates the Five Basic Principles – the core elements of the STOTT PILATES® method.
